5 Races 3 Hours/Week 1 Great Team Join a co-ed dragon boat team! The Freedom Dragons are recruiting for the 2008 paddling season. We have a few benches left for some athletes that like to work hard and play hard. Previous paddling experience isn�?¢�?�?�?�?t necessary, but is always appreciated. Here's the scoop: > Now practicing, with regular practices: Monday and Wednesdays, 6:30 pm - 8:15 pm Saturdays, 9:00 am - 10:45 am > Location: We paddle from the Riverplace Marina in downtown Portland > Equipment: Active wear and non-skid shoes are recommended. Paddles & lifejackets provided by the club (you can also bring your own, ask Team Coordinator for details) > Racing: Five races opportunities in Oregon, Washington and Canada during our 7 mo.season > Team jersey and logo apparel available for purchase > Goal: Work hard, have fun and cross the finish line before the other teams Contact our team coordinator at freedomdragons@hotmail.com, for more information
