We're a fun co-ed team that does well in the Rec divsions. Looking for a new challenge??? Join a co-ed dragon boat team! The Freedom Dragons are recruiting for the 2009 paddling season. We have a few benches left for some athletes that like to work hard and play hard. Previous paddling experience isn't necessary, but is always appreciated. Here's the scoop: Practice times Location: Riverplace Marina, downtown Portland Equipment: Active wear and non-skid shoes are recommended. Paddles & lifejackets provided by the club (you can also bring your own ask Team Coordinator for details) Racing: Five race opportunities in Oregon, Washington, California and Canada during our 7 mo.season Goal: Work hard, have fun and cross the finish line before the other teams Come down for a free hour of paddling !
