Want to play Softball? Can't find a team? Don't want to pay? This group -- http://groups.google.com/group/playballportland -- is for you! The goal of this group is to get people together that want to play and have fun for free, no gimmicks! Why pay to play? Save your money for important things like beer and bills and join in the revolt against greedy leagues and people with teams! This is not a team (not yet anyway)... just reaching out to all the stragglers out there to try to put together a group of people to play softball, free of charge. The way I see it, if we can get 10 people together that's a team right there and we could challenge other teams. If we can get 10 more people we can all just play pick-up style games... Anyone can join and it's free so c'mon, why the hell not!?
